[Clutching] Firelizard Surprise [Egg Hunt]

Primbel looked harried as he puffed his way into the Living Caverns. He cursed aloud as he saw how few folks were there. Maybe all of them would hunt up the eggs. Rapidly, he strode over to the first long table he saw, and climbed atop it. Not as young as I used to be, he thought, as an involuntary grunt forced its way from his gut. He glanced around again, and winced. He'd already drawn a few eyes.

"I need everyone's attention!" the stonesmith bellowed, cutting over the faint din of conversation. "As some of you may be aware, my gold firelizard had a mating flight a while back. And if some of you remember, she has this awful habit of laying eggs everywhere instead of all in one spot." He hesitated, raising a hand to rub at the back of his neck as a sheepish grin covered his face. "I never could break 'er of the habit. So I need help to find the eggs. Somewhere in this Weyr, she is clutching right now. Anybody wants to help, you can keep what you find!"

Of course, they'd have to be very gentle with the new eggs, or they'd probably break. It went without saying. This was a Weyr, and nobody stayed ignorant of the specifics of eggs for long! Primbel cleared his throat, a bit self-conscious as he got down from the long table. If anybody had questions, he'd answer them, but for the most part the egg hunters would be on their own.

You can have your characters look anywhere that a 'lizard might lay an egg: inside shoes, in baskets, in disused hearths, under dressers, on pillows. Just leave things open-ended so I can describe the egg your character has found (if any). Also, one of the eggs will be hidden in a post somewhere on the forum as an image.
