If the character is a dragonrider or wher-handler, the color and mindmate's name should be appended to the subject line:

A few character rules can be found here. The rest can be found here (this last is also a list of available concepts). Don't forget to read the posting rules if you haven't already. The timeline provides a very basic history of Pern up until our focus shifts from the wider view to Sunset Weyr.

Canines and domestic cats (normal-sized; not the big ones that are dangerous) may be created with a character as their property. Since I failed to make mention of this explicitly before, anyone who created a character previous to 08/10/2011 may add one or two, if they like! (Just, please no more than two, and do remember that most "pets" on Pern have a working relationship with their people.) :P
